He got his PH.D. from Vienna University of Technology
(1984). Acted as Marketing manger and marketing director
in one of the world leading technology enterprises.
Currently, Dr. Reda is the managing director of:
Innovation Communication Technologies ICTmc, with
”Business-Oriented Innovations as the main focal point.
He acted as chair, member of stirring committees,
advisory committees, keynotes and invited talk’s speaker
in numerous international conferences and events for
IEEE, IARIA, IFIP, IASTED and WASET. He acted/acting as
Associate Professor in Alexandria University, Cairo
University, International Centre of Theoretical Physics-
UNESCO, and the UCLA.
He is acting in a number of International Professional

Dr. Parag Kulkarni,
CEO and Chief Scientist, EKLaT Research
Senior Professor, UGSM - Monarch Switzerland
An alumnus of IIT and IIM, Dr. Parag is innovative,
strategic leader with proven track record of leading
research teams, product companies to success and seeking
strong results across multiple industries and functional
areas through his leadership, innovation and research.
Dr. Parag received Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and
Engineering from IIT, Khargpur. He holds Masters
Certification in strategic management from IIM Calcutta
and Advanced Diploma in Business Laws, IP and Cyber Laws
from Asian School of Cyber Laws. He is also conferred
Higher Doctorate – Doctor of Sciences – (D.Sc.) for his
professional contribution and research in empowering
businesses with Machine Learning, Knowledge Management
and Systemic Management.
He has close to two decades of research, management and
leadership experience in IT industry. During this period
he headed companies, research labs/groups at software
product companies like Siemens Information Systems Ltd,
IDeaS and worked as VP, Chief Scientist, BU-Head, and
senior manager. He has extensive experience in ‘aligning
business strategy with technology investments’,
‘building innovative solutions’ and ‘taking inventions
to innovations’. He has successfully translated business
needs into technology requirements and contributed in
delivering innovative research components and software
products. He actively led Startup IT product companies
to spectacular success.
His areas of core competence include Business Strategy,
IT Strategy, IT Security, Knowledge Management, systemic
learning, forecasting, machine learning, AI and systemic
management. With his innovation, leadership and business
development skills he contributed towards commercial
success of software products at ReasonEdge- Singapore,
Siemens, Capsilon and other organizations. He
contributed actively to make start-ups successful
through his research, strategic management and business
acumen. He successfully built companies and mentored
management and development teams.
He is recipient of several awards including Oriental
Foundation Scholarship, Professional Contribution awards
and various performance bonuses. He is also listed in
“Marquis Who’s Who” in 2009 for his professional and
research contribution. Dr. Parag authored/co-authored
more than 100 research papers, he presented more than 30
tutorials across the globe and delivered more than
two-dozen keynote and plenary addresses in the area of
new paradigms of management, Knowledge Management and
Machine Learning. He is/was associated as adjunct
professor and Visiting Professor at Pune University, IIM
and many other Technical Schools and B-schools of
repute. Dr. Parag co-authored two books (“IT Strategy”
– Oxford University Press and “Deliverance from Success”
– CTC Publication) and his three books are in press with
IEEE, Oxford and Pearson. He is also on advisory boards
of Institutes, startups and Universities. He is/was
member of editorial board of Journals and member of
program and technical committees for various
international and national conferences and boards
including IICAI, NCDC, Conference on AI Tools, ICMLC,
ICCRD, IASTED, WSEAS, etc.

Dr.
Steve Thatcher

South Australia’s
In 1985 the University of South Australia’s (UniSA) antecedent
institution the South Australian Institute of Technology
introduced Australasia’s first tertiary award course in
Aviation. This established the Aviation Discipline in the
Australasian region. Steve Thatcher was a founding member of the
team that introduced this award and remains the longest serving
Aviation Academic in Australia.In 1990 UniSA established
Australia’s first University owned and operated flight training
school, UniSA Aviation Academy. Steve Thatcher was a founding
member of the team that established the Aviation Academy.
Steve was also the founder of the Aviation Education, Research
and Operations Laboratory (AERO Lab). He is currently the
Founding Team Leader of AERO Lab. He was also a founding member
of the Australasian University Aviation Association.In 2005
Steve successfully negotiated the SA Government Fixed Wing Shark
Patrol Service for UniSA Aviation. UniSA Shark Patrol provides a
valuable community service and has provided graduate pilots with
valuable flight time experience at a stage in their careers when
it is relatively difficult to get flight experience. UniSA Shark
Patrol recently won the Chancellors Award for Community
Engagement.In 2006 Steve designed the new flight training
curriculum for the Aviation Academy and facilitated the
replacement of the Academy's training fleet.In 2004 Steve won
the Best Paper Award for the best paper presentation of the
conference for “Theoretical Framework for a Knowledge-based
Intelligent Enhancement to an Aircraft Ground Proximity Warning
System” at the AISAT-2004 Conference in Hobart. In 2006 Steve
was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for Community Engagement for
the establishment of the UniSA Shark Patrol Service. In 2007
Steve won the Platinum Award for Best Paper for the paper
“Scenario-based Assessment in Aviation Education.” at the 11th
Baltic Conference on Engineering Education held 17th -20th June
in Tallinn, Estonia.In 2007 Steve was awarded the Silver Badge
of Honour. UNESCO International Centre for Engineering
Education’s (UICEE) Silver Badge of Honour for distinguished
contributions to engineering education, outstanding achievements
in the globalisation of engineering education through the
activities of the Centre, and, in particular, for remarkable
service to the UICEE.
Steve has qualifications in Physics, Psychology, Engineering,
Education and Aviation. He has been a Jackaroo in South West
Queensland, a Mechanical Engineer for British Aerospace (UK) and
has lectured in Physics, Electronics and Aviation. He holds a
Commercial Pilot Licence and a Grade One Instructor Rating and
has trained many of the University's flight instructors.
Steve has presented many keynote addresses on his
research work and chaired international conferences in
Australia, Philippines and India. He is on the Editorial
and Review Boards of several international journals and
conferences.
